FAQ The Basics What is Universal Yums? Universal Yums is a monthly subscription service for international snacks. Each month we send you a box filled with snacks and candies from a different country. Every box also contains an information card with trivia and fun facts about each of the snacks. What’s in the boxes? The contents of the boxes change each month as we try to highlight the best snacks from each featured country. However, you can always expect: A mix of flavors: salty, sweet, spicy, fruity, and more. Only authentic snacks from the featured country. Our past boxes archive gives a pretty good idea of what you should expect. How do I sign up? You can sign up for a subscription by going to our join page. Can I give this as a gift? Absolutely! Visit the gift page to purchase a 1, 3 or 6 month gift subscription for either size box. Shipping Where do you ship to? Currently, we ship to the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and Israel. We’re working hard to make our shipping options truly universal! How much does shipping cost? Within the US, shipping to all 50 states is free. International shipping charges are shown in the table below: Country Yum Box Shipping Yum Yum Box Shipping Canada, the UK, Australia $2.50 $6.00 Israel $4.50 $9.00 When will I get my first box? Please refer to the date listed on the checkout page for the most up-to-date information. If you’ve already placed your order, check your email receipt for the ship date. Please note we can not guarantee delivery times. Once the box leaves our facility, the shipping carrier assumes all responsibility for timely delivery. How do I change my shipping address? Log in to your account and navigate to the “Manage Subscriptions” tab. Find the subscription you want to modify, and click the “Edit” button next to the shipping address section. As long as we haven’t printed your shipping label yet, you’ll be able to change your address for all future shipments. My box was shipped to the wrong address, what do I do? Email us at [email protected] to let us know, and we’ll help make it right. Some of my snacks were damaged or missing, what should I do? Please email us at [email protected] and let us know what happened. In most cases, we will resend you the damaged or missing item. Billing When am I charged for my purchase? If you purchase a gift, you are charged in full upon signup. If you purchased an annual subscription, you’ll be charged for one year in full upon signup, and then on a recurring basis once per year. If you purchase a monthly subscription, you will be charged for your first month upon sign up and then on a recurring basis on the first of each month. Since you are charged upon signup, you won’t be charged your first recurring payment until we’re getting ready to send your second box. How do I change my billing information? If you’re trying to fix a failed payment, you will find a notice at the top of the page once you’ve logged into your account. Click the “Pay” button to enter your new payment information. If you’re trying to update your credit card information, go to the “Manage subscriptions” tab in your account. Find the subscription you want to update, and click the “Edit” button in the payment information section. Enter your new credit card information in the field and submit. How do I cancel my subscription? Log in to your account and click the “Cancel” button by your active subscription. If you already paid for a box(es) that you did not yet receive, you will still receive the box(es) normally. Please keep in mind that gift subscriptions are pre-paid and cannot be cancelled. Other Can I switch the size of my box? To switch between the Yum Box and the Yum Yum Box, please log in to your account and click the “Switch Size” button by your active subscription. You will be navigated to review the change and confirm. Can you accommodate food allergies? The ingredients of each snack are listed on the information card included in your box. Unfortunately, we are not able to substitute items for individual boxes. Please be aware that some products are manufactured in a facility that also handles peanuts or other common allergens. If you have severe food allergies to common foods this is probably not the right box for you. Do you have any past boxes I can buy? Past boxes are not currently available for individual sale. This is something we may consider offering in the future.
